Notes: The original release of the third single, as NB-863, pushing "Detroit Rock City". Many DJ copies bear the date stamp 8/14/76, indicating that was the receipt date of the single. However, the single bombed, though DJs were soon flipping the single over and playing the B-side instead. In the second chart week Cashboard were refering to the entry as "Detroit Rock City/Beth", rather than just listing the A-side. They were also indication "Beth" as a new entry on the charts.

Beth (Single)

Released: August 1976
Chart Peak: #7 (11/13/76) with 20 weeks on charts.

Notes: By late-August 1976 the "Beth" B-side was getting more radio airplay than the A-side. As a result Casablanca quickly reissued the single with "Beth" as the A-side. For the first three weeks Cashbox referred to the single as "Beth/Detroit Rock City" before totally dropping "Detroit Rock City" from the entry on October 2nd. Even with its success "Beth" would only be the 92nd most successful single on Cashbox in 1976.
