The Major Announcement? A KISS London Club Date
And the major announcement is........a KISS club date in London on March 2. From Classic Rock magazine:
You wanted the best, and now you'll get the best, The hottest band in the world…at the O2 Academy Islington in London!
Seriously, this is not a wind-up (check the calendar, it ain't April 1!), but KISS are playing the 800-capacity club in North London on Tuesday, March 2. And it's sponsored by Classic Rock! The most intimate venue the legends have played in the UK since the opening of the Marquee Club in Charing Cross Road more than two decades back – remember, they're doing an arena tour in May!
Tickets for this special event – and, that is no hype, this is special! – will go on sale from noon (GMT) on Wednesday, February 24, and you may get them ONLY from HERE. You must use the promo code 'sonic.'
Rules & Regulations:
No tickets will be sent out in advance, you have to pick them up from the box office on the night, on entering the venue. You won't be allowed to pick them up and return later.
There is a strict ticket limit of 2 (two) tickets per person for this event. Any multiple bookings will be cancelled without notice. These tickets cannot be resold or transferred. Any booking that has been resold will be cancelled. Please do not buy these tickets if you are not planning to attend the event.
The tickets will be available for collection as you enter the venue after doors open. The Original credit/debit card must be presented at box office and no readmission will be allowed. Letters of authorisation will not be accepted at this event. Please arrive early and account for a waiting time collecting your tickets.
Paul Stanley on the club gig and upcoming tour: "We thought this was the perfect opportunity to do something a bit crazy. With all the buzz about our upcoming tour, we thought, let's come to London, strip it down, turn it up and blow the roof off the O2 Academy. What better way to say 'thank you' to our most devoted fans than to pummel them?"
The KISS Alive 35 Tour was just the start. Sonic Boom Over Europe leaves that show in the dust. New stage, new setlist, new outfits, new album! We're covering the whole musical history of the band on a stage that takes KISS one giant step further in our eight inch heels. We're stoked. You wanted the best? You GOT the best!" |
